Any construction project is full of endless details and multiple changes whether that’s because of a change of heart or because of supplies and timeline.
As those in the industry know, any mistake can be a very expensive mistake. When it comes to working with clients & collaborating with others, anything to clear up confusion and help them truly see the creative abstract is ideal.
I had the privilege to work with some of the (hands down) best craftsmen in Tennessee.
Austin Bryant Moore is well known in Nashville, and their work is unmatched. By working with these guys, I was able to see some of the best designs & spaces by the most talented architects too!
I created proposals for each project that was presented to others involved: architects, interior designers, clients, builders and so on. It was the perfect piece that served as an in-depth, informative overview but also somewhat of a formal introduction.
In addition to the project details, I worked in a brief company overview with photos of previous work.
To make these productions all the more fitting and to create even more excitement about these projects, I created a custom look for each that reflected the style of home/building to be built.
Sans serif fonts for modern homes. Rugged fonts for craftsman-style homes and so on. I even incorporated a horse icon for a Belle Meade project!
Per space, drawings were pulled from the plan and commentary was noted with design considerations.
I’d love to work together! I can’t say which is my favorite – architecture or editorial design. It’s a win win!
